Tried something new and liked it

It appears my biggest issue is getting enough protein. So I am trying to be creative. Looked at veggie burgers tonight in the store and picked up the MorningStar Mediterrean kind with the chick peas. I had made Texas Caviar and thought it might be Ok together.

I cooked the patty, cut it up and mixed a half cup of the Texas Caviar with it. Did not have bread. It was tasty. Just about 200 calories and I'm not hungry right now. I'm pleased that I tried something new, that it turned out really good and that I made a healthy choice.

    I love the veggie burgers! Of course, I'm not real keen on real hamburgers or turkey burgers. I love the Black Bean Burgers the best!

Have you tried the crumbles? I love to make tacos with those. Mostly b/c I don't care for the hamburger taste in tacos and with the crumbles it's a real strong "TACO" taste which I love. Also, it's easier to make I think.
