Over 40 and feeling it

Thursday, June 27, 2013

I was wrestling with my son several weeks ago and heard my knee pop and getting up was super painful - so much for showing him how I could keep up with him. "I can't" So, after many weeks of doing different exercises to build my knee up again, I'm finally back to walking more but I'm afraid to do planks or jumping jacks.

Wow! Never thought I'd say those words

I wish we had a Y near us - I'd love to go swimming - it's the best exercises for us "older" folks.

Appreciate your feet and legs Everyone!

Glad it is at least feeling a little better. Don't try and push it too hard or you will be right back where you were! In the mean time, stick to that walking and what you can do without pain until you feel you are 100% again!

You might need to see a doctor to make sure that everything is ok.

emoticon So glad that your Knee is better!! Yes, swimming would be ideal, but Walking (carefully!!) is also Good Therapy. I think only someone who has Lost or Nearly Lost the ability to Walk can truly appreciate their Legs.

emoticon These Boots were made for Walking, and that's just what they'll do!!
