First the bad news, 'cause I like to end on a positive note.
At the meeting at school I learned that, rather than the 4 hours I thought I'd be working daily, it's SIX hours, from 8 to 2. This cuts into clay time. In fact, it's just an hour less than I was working the regular school year.
The good news is - it's more hours. Which means more pay. Which means helping over the hurdles of expenses, especially with 3 extra children to feed, especially with little if any contribution from the parents (nothing against my DD - she does just about EVERYTHING, and then I pick up the slack.)
And I'll still have the last couple weeks of August, with 3 days of camping at Allegany State Park, to enjoy some vacation.
