I really started my workout and re-started my gluten free diet on Monday, and the scale has been *very* encouraging!
I did a 4 mile run/walk on Monday, and ended up dropping 2 pounds when I checked the scale on Tuesday....another pound Wednesday, and yet ANOTHER pound when I checked this morning! That's 4 pounds in 3 days. EEP! It would really be awesome if I could keep this up the rest of this week (highly doubtful). But even if I could drop just 1 more pound this week, that would be great. I don't think losing 5 pounds in my *first* week back of pushing my weight loss efforts hard is unreasonable, considering some of it is probably water weight. Of course, this pace will slow *way* down. But I do want to try to lose about 2 lbs a week.
I hate feeling like I have to catch up! Man, I could have been 20-30 lbs lighter if I hadn't fallen off the wagon in March. But, thus is life! Moving on. It is fun to think that I can be 20 lbs lighter by the end of August.
