One day at a time

Yesterday my husband shared that we may not be in the army much longer! STRESSSSSSSS he is the only one providing for us so I began to freak out I got a migraine and was set to head for my comfort food ( chocolate,Icecream,Cookies,Cup
cakes ) but instead I called a friend worked on plans A,B,C,D,E,F, and G for a sudden separation from the military I drank my lemon water. Took mortin and sinus med in stead of my migraine meds and I drank my Visalus shakes for lunch. ( I added extra cocoa powder tho) For dinner I still had a headache so I got the family kfc I had two pieces of the grilled chicken thigh and leg. I am not over the stress of it all but I am happy I didnt go to the store and buy those foods that add to my addiction or binge. And to reward me my body said good bye to 4lbs and 2 inches off my waist. I feel better in control of my emotions and I am proud of myself. I will have to keep all this in mind when hubby has his stress food come into the house. It will be hard not to go get a taste...... I believe in myself! I will use the tools I have. I can blog I can reach out for help if I feel it getting to much to handle. I have options. Thats important. This is what I need to learn in order to keep the weight off. ! Yay ME!

How wise to look to a friend for support instead of resorting to the unhealthy snacks. Sounds like you are a smart cookie (excuse the pun) and on the way to success. Wishing you much strength in the coming days as you and hubby prepare for a new way of life.
