My goal every day is just to keep on walking. I have my kitchen stocked with healthy foods, lean proteins, healthy fats & whole grains. I have healthy snacks in my desk at work. I pack my breakfast & lunch most every day so that I don't get side-tracked. I aim for 5 servings of veggies & 3 servings of fruit every day (in case you didn't know, that's a LOT of food -- I rarely get hungry). I exercise at least 5 days a week -- I have 2 built in rest days & on those days, I still try to get 5000 to 8000 steps.
All these little things add up. It all counts.
Day after day, it gets easier. I still have some rebellious days, but I think we all will. Most of the time, I do what is heading me toward my goals. I may have an off day here & there, but overall, I'm still walking toward those good things.
I want to be unstoppable!!
The progress may be slow, but slow is still progress.
I want to enjoy the ride on the way to my destination.
