Chocolatey Delight

Thursday, June 27, 2013

Something I've found in place of pop tarts, bc I love pop tarts....

Special K brand Pastry Crisps...in the flavor chocolatey delight..

totally kill my pop tart craving...

comes with 2 pastrys in a pack. 100 calories per pack.

5 packs in box i think, cant remember aat the second but i enjoy them :)
If you like stuff like that and can have sugar, ya all should try it.
---

I need new snack ideas the stuff im eating is getting old boring and routine.
So I guess tomorrow that shall be my chore...
im not good with change when it comes to foods
so i hope i can find things i enjoy that do not taste like sandpaper.

I love fresh fruit for snacks at this time of year.
apples dipped in fat free caramel
strawberries dipped in chocolate
any kind of melon with a slice of cheese
berries with a dollop of whipped topping
frozen mixed fruit run through the blender to make a smoothie/slushee
half a cantaloupe filled with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
pineapple chucks speared with stick pretzels

...think I better go fix me a snack emoticon

Thanks for the tip on Special K pastries. I noticed other Sparkers are leaving you healthy snack ideas. How cool is that?

I tried Dole Frozen Dark Chocolate Covered Bananas. They come in a package with 4 slices for 100 calories. If you like Eskimo Pies, I think you'd like the frozen bananas.

I love pop tarts too in I over indulged in them last night (2 instead of 1). The ones that you are talking about are really good too.

Yes, I like the Special K crisps too. Here is a snack idea and you get a vegetable. I like the carrots that are slice like chips. They are easier to dip and easier to eat than carrot sticks. Do you like Hummas? It comes in different flavors and goes nicely with the carrots.

My new passion is taking 1 Tbsp. of Nutella, melting it in the microwave in a small bowl, and then dipping an sliced apple in it. You get that chocolate taste, with some protein and some fruit to boot! The Nutella is 100 cals. per Tbsp., and I always leave a little room for that type of snack in the evening!
