Began the morning getting ready to head out for a meeting regarding the facility contract for the homeschool co-op. Thankfully everything is set to proceed as usual for the coming school year, but I'll feel much more solid once the actual contract is signed. The Pastor mentioned that he had only received a few criticisms regarding rooms not being left in usable order for Wednesday night, but he did not believe we were the ones leaving them in that way as he said all his random checks after we leave show everything looking so nice. I reminded him that the Scouts are in the gym and classrooms on Tuesday nights. I know exactly who has made the passing criticisms. Not my problem!

This afternoon I took Isaac to Occupational Therapy and he got released for 6 months. Huge praise! I am going to see about getting the kids' counseling appointments meshed together somehow so we can get another day out of the mix. Next Tuesday I plan to try and get Physical Therapy ended too. One thing that did come out of the OT is we now know he is totally capable of learning skills and doing them well. It is a behavior that he chooses to not bring those skills home. Talked with therapist about needing to make a strong consequence to flip those behavior choices and since he has never had an attachment to anything (everything is fleeting) we are choosing the "something he doesn't like to do" tactic. I think little boy will be shoveling a lot of rocks......

Bible study was very nice this evening and I'll miss it the rest of the summer, but am thankful our leader takes a long break at the same time. I need to keep up the time I give to the study each week and work on my James study I started months ago and have not done much with so far.

Tomorrow.... gym in the morning and Isaac's speech group in the afternoon. That's it! Whoo Hoo!

Is Isaac bored, need an energy outlet? We put our son in hockey to burn off his extra energy when his teachers wanted him medicated!

It does sound like the Children's Director does have an attitude problem. Very sad!

Wow, sorry to hear that Isaac is making bad choices and will need negative consequences. That is something we don't like to do, but it can be very necessary!
