Sad Day

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

Got back from work yesterday. On the way home, met up with the mother of my patient that died in December. We had a nice time chatting. laughing and crying! Was great to see her :)

Had a great workout with my trainer today, working my legs and butt today. Drank up my pineapple juice after my workout - helps with sore muscles :) emoticon

Tonight, we had a meeting at our church, it was announced that our dear friends are leaving. Makes me sad, but it is a selfish thought, I will miss my friend but I am so happy for them to moving on with the Lord.

It is sad when you think that you will never see the person again who is moving to another level in their faith. Some people were meant to be in our lives forever, some not. Time will tell which kind of relationship it is.

It's great that you could catch up with the Mother of your former patient. That way you can see how she is doing. We also ususally don't see the caregivers after we are well, so that is nice too.

I have recently moved myself and know how hard it is to say goodbye to dear friends. But I make it a habit to keep in touch. And I stay open to new friends.
