Starting to Blog, Hoping for Support.

Hi. I'm Marci. 27 years old with an 18 month old daughter. I have been overweight for most of my life. Been with SP for about a month, I lost 6 lbs in the first weeks, gained it back, lost 4 lbs, gained it back. I wasn't using the community tools. Last night I was fishing through Spark Pages of people who have had great success on the program. I noticed that most of them kept a daily blog and had lots of support from community members. I have not talked with anyone else using SP yet, so I figured this is as good a place to start as any. I get bored very easily with the tracking and food prep and slip back into my old eating habits. Every other week is an off week for me. I just get busy with work, school, and baby, and I don't have time to think about myself. I have about 100 pounds to lose, so hopefully this will do the trick! - eat within my calorie range
- try the mini-meals thing (I don't have a lot of time to cook a meal and sit down to eat it anyways.)
- check labels when purchasing frozen meals for calories, fat, saturated fat, and sodium. And add salad, fruit and milk to those meals. emoticon

    emoticon Good for you! You are smart to reach out to the Community of Sparkers! I just went through a bit of a bad patch, and it really helped me to ask for help! The food tracker is an excellent tool to make use of. It really does work! Your goals are solid for the week! I am cheering you on! You are ready to do this!
