Hi. I'm Marci. 27 years old with an 18 month old daughter. I have been overweight for most of my life. Been with SP for about a month, I lost 6 lbs in the first weeks, gained it back, lost 4 lbs, gained it back. I wasn't using the community tools. Last night I was fishing through Spark Pages of people who have had great success on the program. I noticed that most of them kept a daily blog and had lots of support from community members. I have not talked with anyone else using SP yet, so I figured this is as good a place to start as any. I get bored very easily with the tracking and food prep and slip back into my old eating habits. Every other week is an off week for me. I just get busy with work, school, and baby, and I don't have time to think about myself. I have about 100 pounds to lose, so hopefully this will do the trick! WEEK ONE GOALS:
- eat within my calorie range
- track EVERYTHING
- try the mini-meals thing (I don't have a lot of time to cook a meal and sit down to eat it anyways.)
- check labels when purchasing frozen meals for calories, fat, saturated fat, and sodium. And add salad, fruit and milk to those meals.
