So Tired I'm as Confused as a Car

Day 3 of the Spark Solution

I had a hard time waking up this morning. Even though I got about 8 hours sleep I was still very tired. I ate breakfast after exercise instead of before because I was out of spinach and had to run by the store. I sat down after breakfast to log my food, and fell asleep for about 2 hours. Luckily my son was noisy today and woke me up, otherwise I may have slept all day. Yep, I’m that tired.

Breakfast was awesome…another new favorite. I hated lunch, but to be fair, I am not a fan of salad dressing and prefer mine dry. My son liked it just fine. Just ate the leftovers from last night for supper. Couldn't see making a new recipe and letting the rest of that one go to waste.

I am worried that by the end of the week there is going to be a lot of waste from ingredients that only a tiny bit were used, but you have to buy it in a certain amount.

For exercise, I walked around the parking lot for 90 minutes during my son's sports practice. To mix it up, I weaved up and down the ditches. The ones by the field are about 15' down, and 30' up the other side. That was a huffer and puffer for about 20 minutes. Then I moved to the shaded side by a stand of trees and did a variety of steps, walking sideways, backwards, karaoke, skipping, any thing I could think of to mix it up. I didn't get in as many steps as usual, but I worked some different muscles. After I got home, I did about 10 minutes of dumbbell workout. Later this evening, hubby and I did a mile walk around the neighborhood.

I was extremely sleepy all day today. Once again I had an unintentional nap and had trouble waking up from it. All day long I have just wanted to go back to bed, and plan on an early bed time tonight.

    WOW, very creative getting in the steps. I like rice vinegar on my salad. It's very light and adds a kick.

    Keep track of the recipes that you like and make them once you finish the challenge. That way you will use the remainder of the ingredients. Freeze whatever you can. I agree, set-menus often are very spendy due to the use of unique ingredients. You also can search the net for recipes that use those ingredients. Or you can make and freeze the ones that you like for use later.

    In spite of your tiredness you still managed to push on and get your workouts done. I can SO totally identify with that feeling. Just being too tired to do anything, but you do anyway. I'm having one of those days today too. Maybe it's the weather? All I want to do is go to bed, but my Sparking isn't done yet. Hope you get a real good rest tonight and feel more refreshed tomorrow. emoticon

    Curious as to what lunch you prefer without salad dressing. My lunch was fajitas with lots of peppers and onions emoticon and a lettuce salad. Supper was a turkey sandwich. But there were lots of naughty things that passed into my mouth. emoticon

    If it were me I would get a ton of sleep right away and then if this tiredness continued I'd consult a Dr. It is not normal to be THAT tired!
