All or Nothing Attitude

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

Well, this is all or nothing attitude is still something for me to get figured out! As I reflect on the past 3 weeks, it is probably the biggest reason I didn't stick with my healthy habits as well as I could have. When I'm off my routine, I just fall off the wagon so easily. That poem, "there was a little girl, with a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead. And when she was good, she was oh so good, but when she was bad she was horrid!" That's me....minus the curly hair!

So what is the upcoming challenge for this determined grandmother???

While I was in Seattle my daughter decided to come visit here in Utah. Yea! So what does this mean? On Sunday, just 8 days after I got home from my 3 week trip I will be flying back to Seattle and then on Monday, July 1st my daughter, 3 1/2 year old grand daughter, 25 month old grand daughter, and myself will be driving 900 miles to get here. They will be here about 2 weeks and then we will drive back to Seattle and then I will fly back in time to take care of four of the local grand children while their parents and their oldest sibling are at church girl's camp for 5 days! WOW! I'm excited for all this family time, but need to get my head on straight so I can stay on track with my healthy eating and exercise.

I'm tired just thinking of it all! I can do this! Any support out there is appreciated! GO JUDY!!!

Relax, do what you can. If you fall off the wagon, just get right back on. emoticon emoticon emoticon Go Judy !! emoticon

My advice would be to just do the best you can and have fun with your family! Don't sweat it! Even if you make healthy choices 80% of the time, or more or less, you are better off than you were. If you get in some walking or playing with grandkids that you normally wouldn't do, that's a bonus.

Soon, you will be back on your schedule--a little closer to your goal and you will have spent awesome, stress-free time with your family.

Have a great time! emoticon
