So I have been doing the Level One of Jillian Michaels "30 day shred". It is an amazing workout. I am super sore but know that it is working so forward with it. :)
Yesterday, I felt super confident in my own skin, which as many of you may already know, I am not comfortable in my own skin, and never have been (outside of the occasional blue moon). But I felt super good about myself. So, I got purdied up, in other words had hair and make up done. Even my nails got done. I never really go and be girly or feminine so my significant other and children were like "where is B and what did you do with her." It was pretty awesome.
Today I will be doing the level one shred again, I have eight more days on level one. I am also working on her six week abs and a couple other plans from Jillian Michaels. This woman is amazing. I also learned that as a child Jillian was a chunky girl and I have to say "Wow", I mean look at how amazing she is now. Ill take a moment to say "you rock girl" to Jillian.
On a sad note. I had two baby chicks that are just starting to look more like the mature chickens that they will be. I came out to feed them today and found my little buff orpington had been attacked by something and survived. She isnt in pain and seems to be acting normal and surprisingly comfortable in her seclusion cage in my rabbit house. I am studying veterinary medicine so I have attended to her wounds and made her comfortable. If she were suffering I would have put her down, but she is not. Vitals and everything looks great. I wish I could say that I had her is a sectioned off portion to the chicken house but the neighbors dog (which he wasnt supposed to have a pet) destroyed the ajoined fence and killed several of my chickens and in the process actually destroyed the chicken house. I have two adult hens left that only lay maybe an egg every two or three days (so my egg supply is low), and one other young chick that is same breed as the adult hens "Bantams". They are very quiet and beautiful hens/chicks. I wish that I could say that we didnt let the chickens the neighbors dog killed, go to waist (ie: ate them) but we burry'd them instead as we were not sure if the animal was vaccinated for rabies or any other transferrable disease that is harmful to humans. Where we burry'd them, is where I will be planting our new veggie patch, so their energy is not going to total waste and will be going in full circle back into the cycle again.
Wow this got a little distracted and lengthy didnt it. Apologies. Well it is time for me to do the level one again today so I will post again tomorrow. Thanks for reading everyone. Have an amazing day and I hope that you never give up and never let anyone tell you that you cant; because you CAN and you WILL!
