Things sometimes do happen for a reason

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

I trust the process,
and also believe in karma, fate and the workings of the universe.

We have been helping our 25 yr old dd, Mimi, through the process of buying her first home- a tiny condo in a short sale (one step before foreclosure) for the last month or so.
Mimi is a wonderful but unique individual with a long and successful special education background- she's hard to describe, actually.
Well, the whole condo deal blew up a few days ago, through no fault of ours, and we were all disappointed.
But then, an even better deal materialized-
a bit more expensive but in the same development and a MUCH better unit than the original one.
And, because of all the hoops we jumped through for the first deal, this next one should sail through.
We hope.
Now we are one happy famliy!

Sometimes we can't see why something happens but it is for something better to take its place!

That type of thing happened many years ago to us when we tried to buy our first home. We didn't get the home we first wanted, but the next day we got one that was even more suited to our needs.
