It gets more difficult each time (Pictures)

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

I have only been able to be on the computer a little while each day. My exercise has been non existent. And my eating pattern? I'm embarrassed to say! Each time I fall, everything seems more difficult to do that I know are essential to Spark and a healthy lifestyle! This time I also bent a wired type office waste basket!! It wasn't a pretty site. But it has caused the start of it all. Now that I'm feeling better, I can hardly wait to get back doing all
I need to do. I have a picture of my face, but it isn't on this computer. We are staring to get another storm. When I can I'll post it.

The day I fell, I had treated myself to a manicure. I do have that picture. I'm really enjoying how different my nail tech has been doing them. I love being different and not having the same thing all the time. When I did nails, I had dozens of color choices and would put them together for my clients. Most really appreciated it, yet there were some who wanted the same color over and over. I'm too shaky now to be able to do a very good job and I hate to ask Cruzer all the time with as much as he has to do.

Noticed the ring finger? The colors are reversed on purpose.

I have decided to join the NaNoWriMo July summer camp and work on the book with all the things to do from Spark! They will mostly came from my blogs! I haven't come up with a name for it, so I'll have to put on my thinking cap to come up with one.

Cruzer sent me the picture of after the fall, so now I have it on this computer and I'll post it now. It shows only my face and not my knee, ankle, and arm. I'm sure you'll see how hard I hit and why I haven't been on the computer all that much.

June has been quite the month for us at Cruzes Cottage! I hope all of my Spark friends have had a better time of it than we have. I hope you'll all have some terrific plans for the 4th of July all of you US buddies. Remember, there are plenty of foods that you can have that are lower in calories and will keep you in your range. And if you do go over, you know what to do, correct? Start back as soon as you can and it will average out over a week. Whatever you do, DON'T give up! You are worth having better health!!

Peace Love Cure

I am so glad you are recovering emoticon Are the doctors offering you any Pt or other treatment to help you with your balance problems? Have you had your ears checked as a lot of balance problems come from the ear.
I have both a left lower leg amputation and Osteo Arthritis. Its not a good combination for balance either. But some balancing training with a PT did me a lot of good. Also I have to check the outer edges of my shoes to make sure my ankles are not rolled out which really affects my balance. And it helped me to build up quad and hip muscles before I started walking again. Best of luck with that emoticon

So sorry you had such a bad fall. Hope you heal quickly. Love what you do with your nails, have tried to explain it to the girls that do my nails. Apparently I do not explain it well, they just smile and nod yes.

Oh Ev! I hope you can start finding ways to keep upright so you aren't falling so much. Every time you fall I worry so much about you! I collapse constantly, but I often have a 3-5 second warning. I hope you take good care of yourself. Keep treating yourself to those manicures - you always get such great colors.

emoticon ouch, that picture of you looks like you had one HARD FALL!! I think your blog is very positive, I'm afraid if it were me writing after I had been hurt so badly after falling, I would be complaining more. SO I reach out to give you a HUG and say GO SLOW give your self time to heal. Then, you will be able to get back on the Spark wagon again when you feel better and you will be back in the saddle again soon. Remember those baby steps and One Day At A Time.

emoticon Hoping you feel better soon. emoticon emoticon
