Avocado Chocolate Pudding

Serves: 4
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

1 ripe avocado, peeled, pit removed
1/2 to 3/4 cups water (start with a 1/2 cup and add more if needed to blend)
4 tablespoons natural non-alkalized cocoa powder
6-10 dates, pitted (depending on size and sweetness)
dash vanilla extract

Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender.

May be served by itself or used as a topping for fresh fruit.

Uh--I stumbled upon this. Any comments?

It sounds like avocado and chocolate is something you acquire a taste for or don't. Let us know how it was and it does sound healthy. May try it.

I've made this. If you haven't had real chocolate pudding for a while, it's pretty darn good. I feel that way about all healthy versions of foods. The longer I go without eating real pizza the better the vegan veggie pizza tastes and so on.
