Countdown has officially begun.
I've got a collection of recipes, the It Starts With Food book being delivered by Amazon today, the Daily30 emails in my inbox (thanks REVIVED!!!!!). I think I'm ready.
This weekend I ate well, but drank quite a few beers. Monday night a milkshake happened, and yesterday there was a snickers incident. Meals are good but snacks need work (aka, be eliminated altogether).
Tomorrow night we're heading the beach for a long weekend right after work. We'll come back on Monday, day 1 of Whole30. So that's Challenge Numero Uno.
CHALLENGE NUMERO UNO
Problem: Missing farmers market on Saturday = not stocked up on fresh veggies & eggs
Solution A: Bring big cooler, stop at roadside markets while traveling
Solution B: Overpay at grocery store on Monday
Problem: No chance to prep/precook meals over weekend
Solution: I only need to have Tues & Weds meals prepped. We're off Thursday, happy bday America, so I can cook Friday's meals then and get back on track
Problem: Traveling for at least 2 meals worth on Day 1
Solution: Go to groc store while at my parents' house and get some supplies. 1. WHOLE eggs (they only do whites in a bottle--yucko) 2. Compliant deli meat 3. Fresh veg to cut up or steam/stirfry
WHAT I'M EATING & DOING TODAY
Bfast: 3 sunnyside up eggs, small microwaved sweet potato
Lunch: Choco-chili w/ my happy grass fed beef (leftovers from last night
Boxing & Conditioning class @ 1pm with Jennifer. This chick is becoming my favorite gym buddy, she really brings the friendly competition. Always push myself when she comes with me.
Post WO snack: banana. I know, not the best option. Where's the protein? I'm working on my meal planning skills. It'll be better in 5 days I promise. Maybe I'll stock up on tuna pouches for this purpose...
Dinner: squash fritters, carrot fries with ranch mayo, and lamb meatballs. I'll prob roast some cauliflower while I'm at it. Gotta eat it up before we go outta town! Sucks that picked the hottest day of the year to use the oven for hours.
Must. Wash. Clothes. or I will have nothing cute to wear to beach. Just do it you lazy bum.

Forgot to tell you guys some news. The studio where I do pole asked me if I was interesting in teaching, so I'm now going for my AFAA certification. Wooooo! This former chubby girl is gonna teach ya how to pop it. And spin it. And climb it.
