As I trundled off to work this morning it struck me what a great spread I was taking along in my little plastic containers:
For breakfast: Trader Joe's smoked herring tossed with some greek yogurt
Morning snack: Fresh slices of kohlrabi from my garden with roasted garlic hummus
Lunch: A home-made improvised chicken pie made with eggplant from my garden, red peppers and onions, and a grain-free crust of almond meal, flax meal and olive oil.
It don't get much better than this.
But I'm still coasting on the exercise and tracking. I need another doctor to tell me I'm going to die if I don't lose weight.
