Where to begin?

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

My family and I have moved to Athens, Greece for a year. I don't know how to explain this whole story to you, so I will just jump in. The neighborhood where I live is built up the side of a mountain. Athens is actually situated between several small mountains. I arrived on Monday and finally this morning I got out for a walk. I have to say that I love my walks here. First of all, there is hardly any humidity which is just amazing. I already notice that my skin feels drier but I can use some extra moisturizer. Second, I get a great work out walking up and down the hills. I need to focus on the positives one day at a time. I also need to fill my day somehow so I don't eat out of boredom.

sounds like a beautiful place to go walking. Perhaps a hobby will keep you from eating. Or maybe even making over some of your favorite snacks.

What a beautiful place, and the most gracious people on earth!!!!!!!! I took a cruise on a Greek ship back in the 70's. The whole staff was wonderful!!
I have Greek friends and they make you feel like family immediately.
