First Day

I just completed my first day on Spark. It was a pretty good, busy but balanced day. Hope I can keep it up! Consistency is something I really struggle with.

Accomplishments of the day:
-Started off my day with scripture study. Yeah for me :) I think it really makes a difference.
-Was mindful of what I ate.
-Had LOTS of water.
-Recorded everything.
-Washed two loads of laundry and actually put one away ;)
-Did the dishes.
-Mowed a lot of the lawn (it's BIG)
-Worked for a few hours building a chicken tractor (google it). Wow construction burns a lot of calories! (and makes very sore muscles :/ ouch!)
-Tried to figure out how to use this site.

-I definitely could have eaten healthier but I'll give myself a break cuz I still have to plan, shop, and get into the routine of making better food choices again.
-I need to get to bed earlier...it's 1:30 in the morning :/

    You are off to a great start! Take it one day at a time....one choice at a time...It does take a little time to get comfortable moving around the site. You will get the hang of it. emoticon

    Well done on a great first day of MANY great days and even some not so great days. I tend to discourage people from using the word HOPE when it comes to changing your habits...when you say you hope, it usually gives you an unconscious "out" to fail and quit and say "it didn't work"....that is not the case with Sparkpeople. It has everything you need to educate yourself, hold yourself accountable, and change your unhealthy habits to healthy ones. Commit to it! YOU WILL (AND CAN) DO THIS! PERIOD! Girl!!!!! Go get your prize and I'll be cheering you all the way to the finish line! Be kind to yourself. Be patient! If you need anything, just holler! Have an amazing week!
