The past couple of days

Well, things are not where I expected.
First, the neurologist appointment yesterday did not go as I had hoped. I thought writing everything down about what had happened and what I had tried would help lead to him requesting an MRI. Well, he said it is a "tension headache" which I am not satisfied with as an answer since I have had tension headaches and they are always on the front of the head, not back. He said if it gets worse to come back and he would give me a preventative medication. I was frustrated when I left the office. Preventative medicine is just that, to be used before it gets bad, not after it is to this point.
Second my hubby will be home tomorrow night. This is the first time that he has been away and I have been at home alone for a couple of days. I have missed him terribly.
Third, I talked to a friend tonight who listened to what has lead up to today from the car accident. It is amazing how people become friends, sometimes the true reason being found out after the initial encounter. She suffers from migraines a lot, and when I explained how the pain felt, she said that it sounds like migraine that is going on too long. I did not realize that not all kinds of migraines come with light or sound sensitivity. So if my primary care doctor does not want to order an MRI, I will got to the neurologist and take her with me.
I think I have also figured out why my fibromyalgia got so bad about a month ago. I stopped the new nasal spray a couple of weeks ago. Last week my arms were feeling lots better, and I felt like I wanted to get some walking in. So I restarted the nasal spray, and within a couple of days, I was in major pain again, so I stopped and am feeling better, so look forward to getting back to the gym and getting my exercise in.
I was hoping to have some resolution before leaving for vacation next weekend, even though that is not going to happen, at least I know I am not crazy. I am still going to enjoy my vacation and the diving we do and sights we see.
