After being away for 3 months...

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

Oheyyyy! It's been awhile.

I got way off track. So naturally, I wimped out and ran away from Sparkpeople.com. I got until Easter (I think my subconscious kind of planned for me to fall off the wagon on the holiday) doing the gluten free diet, then I went a little cray cray on the breads, pizzas, candies, subways....urgh. yeah. I messed up and gained 10 of the 15 I had lost back :(

BUT

I've been working my way back on track for the past couple of weeks, and today I am at 178, 8 lbs above my low of 170. I've been running fairly regularly, and re-committed to eating gluten free.

Sorry to my spark friends who I've kind of abandoned :( I've missed you all! Thanks for your support, and I hope to be there for you all again.

On a final note, I've been thinking about changing my ultimate weight loss prize to getting a tattoo. This is strange for me, because I've never been a fan of tattoos on chicks, but I had an idea that has kind of stuck with me.... I kind of want to get "Live free or die" tattooed along the side of my right foot. Thoughts?

Been gone awhile myself. Glad you're back. Nottoo sure about the tattoo, but then again, I'm not a real fan of tattoos, especially on women.

I love the idea of getting a tattoo because that is exactly what I did for my -50 lb mark! I wouldn't worry about having bacteria in your ink. I was a tattoo artist and never ever never had a problem. Just make sure you go to a shop that has been known to be clean. Ask to see the Artist's work before you make an appointment. Even ask friends about shops they recommend. If you ever come to Iowa City I can recommend some shops for you too!

Glad to see you back!

Welcome back and as for the tattoo I would not get it because once you get it you can't really get it off and with all the problems that they are having with the ink (some have been found to have bacteria in it) and don't know what else and that is one thing that you don't want
