5:18am wake up call...

Tuesday, June 25, 2013

My body is torturing me. I started taking B-Complex and I think it's making me wake up about 3 hours after I go to sleep! And same as yesterday, I crashed hard at about 11am and passed out for 4 hours.

I did do my walking this morning in the wet grass again. It's hell on my shoes, but I can stand the heat at that time of the day right now... only because it's been overcast. But I woke up way to early today and just kept looking out the window going "Wow, what time does the sun come up?" 9 cups of coffee later and I still passed out at 11am. HAHA

So I am up and getting ready to find a salad and some protein to choke down. I am getting discouraged because I have been eating salads and a protein shake for lunch and working out every day and I have not lost a pound of the 12 pounds I have regained in the past 2 weeks. I go to the doctor on Thursday and someone needs to answer some questions. I went from 226 to 240 in 12 days. emoticon

Peace, and well, I am fat.

I think it's time for someone to look into the "thyroid issue" on a really deep level!

Vitamin B complex shouldn't be taken at night-time - if that's what you are doing. I wasn't sure from your blog. It should be taken either at breakfast or lunch. Calclum with mag is a good one for bedtime, as it works on the muscles, to relax them. (basically) I hear you on the weight stuff, as I can gain and lose the same 10 lbs over and over. Hope something breaks through that plateau you are on.

Is there a time of day that is better / worse for you to take the B complex that will affect your sleep in a different way?

I hope your Dr. can figure it out. Have you ever been checked for thyroid problems? Maybe you need to get into strength training.. Doing the same thing all the time for exercise and your body gets used to it and efficiently burns calories so you don't get as much out of it. This is why I love my fitness classes, always something new to give my body a wake up call, although sometimes I am hobbling around whining for a while afterwards :P No (normal) pain, no gain (or loss if you will)
Good luck tomorrow..
