Vitalicious goodies--and my dumb mistake with pictures

I ordered these online awhile ago. They come frozen.

Well I stupidly just put them in a cupboard. I had ordered GNU bars at the same time. I got mixed up and forgot that the Vitalicious bars have to be frozen. No preservatives. Well they got moldy!

Several days ago I emailed the company and asked if they would give me the original deal as my first order. I explained what I did. They replaced the whole order free! I can't believe it.

It just arrived and I am putting it in the freezer NOW!

    Great news. I buy their products at my local Publix store when they put them on sale-BOGO. I am glad they were very generous and replaced your product. Makes me feel good about buying their products.

    Oh Happy Day! You deserved this kindness... and weren't the Vitalicious people smart, because now you've told at least 10 people about the experience and we're all happy for you and probably are more inclined than ever to put a box of tops in our grocery cart next time. All is good! Enjoy!

    Some companies are willing to help out their customers like this to keep them happy, especially if it's a relatively new company/product. It never hurts to call and ask a company what they're willing to do!

In the future, if you don't remember what should be frozen and what can go in the cupboard, throw everything in the freezer until you have the focus to read the package. Plenty of items can be frozen and thawed out, but once something is thawed it's dangerous to refreeze it.

Don't call yourself stupid (" I stupidly"). Admit that what you DID was stupid (if you must use that word), but recognize and reaffirm that YOU are NOT stupid. I lecture because changing negative self-talk is something I've had to work on for years. It's amazing how much better I feel about myself when I don't call myself stupid (or whatever), but call a certain ACTION stupid and admit I was distracted (for example) when I did (whatever).

Go ahead and tell me to buzz off, if you like. You certainly didn't ask for my opinion. (yeah, I'm working on that, too). emoticon
