July's Challenges


Go for the Gold Exercise Challenge
One of best like challenges is back for another run!
The goal here is to track July's exercise minutes and reach one of the medal levels.
SparkPeople Goodie medals will be awarded to those who achieve one of the levels.
Gold Medal - 2000 plus minutes
Silver Medal - 1500 plus minutes
Bronze Medal - 1000 plus minutes
Blue Ribbon - If you track more minutes in July than you did in June.

Go for the Gold Sparking Challenge
Each day you can earn up to 4 points. One point each for:
Tracking food and remaining within or under your target range.
Tracking exercise (exercise should only be tracked if 20 minutes or more)
Tracking water (any fluid) intake and reaching Spark recommended 8 cups
Posting update on Spark People forum for Go for the Gold Sparking Challenge
SparkPeople Goodie medals will be awarded to those who achieve one of the levels.
Gold Medal - 110 plus points
Silver Medal - 100 plus points
Bronze Medal - 90 plus points

Last Sparker Standing for July
Sign up for this one! Weigh in on June 3, 10, 17, 24 and July 1st. If you weight is lower than the previous weigh in - you stay and if you have not lost weight - you are out. Let's see how many of us can end the month on a losing streak.

The goal here is to develop good habits by doing an activity everyday for 10 days.

Fitness Streak - Exercise 30 minutes 10 days in a row

Fruit & Veggie Streak - 3 servings of fruit and vegetables 10 days in a row

Healthy Eating Streak - Calories at or below lower limit recommended by Sparks 10 days in a row

This one is for me but everyone is welcome to join. Goal here is to lose 10 pounds in July.
Post in the forum everyday the morning scale reading - better trend down!!!
