... And the Roller Coaster Continues!

Tuesday, June 25, 2013

Well, my internet is working super slow this week, and I have been unable to do much in the mornings. But, back to the topic.
This has not been a very good year, since I got fired from a job I liked in January. But I'm pulling out of it, and things are finally starting to look up. I went to a class to earn my Accident, Health, and Life Insurance License. I passed the test the first time I took it, and I am working for Bankers Life and Casualty Company. I am currently in their training program, which is pretty thorough, and I enjoy the job so far. I do understand that 1st year agents have a rough go of it, so I'm willing to hang in there and make it work. But the down side is the road time. We are on the road 3 days a week, and the guy I'm training with stops an McDonald's every day! That makes it hard to eat right, but I was able to do it yesterday, so it can be done.

Today, I did not have a game plan when I started, and that was not good. Lesson learned: start every day with a plan! But I did get my work out in, and tomorrow is another day!

Something to remember!

Ok, I know I posted this before but I really really need to remember this!

Oh no!!! That's awful - I'd have a hard time too! There are healthy options, and if you bring your own snacks to supplement (or bring your own meals all together but sometimes I feel awkward doing that if everybody else is eating out), and stay positive, you'll overcome it!! You can do it!
