I made it through my first week at Boot camp on Friday! I was so excited, except when I stepped on the scales - a 5# gain!! And you don't gain that much muscle that quickly - I tried to justify it that way. I called my Doctor and she suggest I cut back on my carbs, big time. Aim for 50grams a day. As low as possible... So over the weekend I dropped all breads, and fruits, and anything that wasn't mostly protein (I hadn't been to the grocery store for more fresh veggies).
Sunday was grocery day and I added back some veggies. Monday I ate proteins and veggies and this morning, a 2# loss. I'm going to show my meal plans from last week and what I'm doing now to my boot camp leader to see if she sees anything else I may have done wrong. At least it looks like the scales are going the correct direction now.
