I'm trying to give myself extra motivation during my gym workouts by watching women who I think kick a$$!
Lately, I've been re-watching Season 7 of The Biggest Loser, which featured my favorite contestant of all time, Tara Costa. Tara started off bigger than me and she finished lighter than my goal weight, but I want to attempt to keep up with her -- she just hit 252 on the show, and that's what I was my last weigh-in, so I'm going to wait a month before watching the next episode, when I know she hits 240, and celebrate with her! :)
In the meantime, I'm going to start re-watching a series with another favorite kick-a$$ woman: Sydney Bristow (Alias). Starting with the pilot during my date with the treadmill after work tonight!
I'm finding TBL, at least, to be a great motivator during my workouts -- when something inspirational happens, or when Jillian starts screaming at the contestants, I up my intensity a bit. I have a feeling it'll be the same way with Alias -- when Syd takes off after a bad guy, I'll kick it up a notch!
What does everyone else do to stay motivated during a workout?
