Day 6

Tuesday, June 25, 2013

We had a bad storm here and 50,000 people lost their power. That number includes my household. I spent last night running around checking on my Grandmothers who live close to me and making sure they had power (they did). I took my diabetic Grandma, who hadn't eaten since breakfast because her power was out for most of the day, to dinner. I managed to eat within my calorie range, but got no exercise in. I drank plenty of water and went to bed a little later than usual so I was pretty grumpy this morning. The good news is as of this morning my power is back on!

I'm glad you were able to help both of your Grandmothers but especially the one with Diabetes. It's dangerous for her to go so long without eating. You're an angel! It's tough being without power - I'm glad I didn't lose it at my place.

Your grandmothers are very fortunate to have a granddaughter like you! Glad your power is back on - it is sure no fun without it! Hugs to you!

Into every life a little rain must fall but as God said in the movie "Oh God", "If I hadn't created the rain you wouldn't appreciate the sunshine"

Make Today the Best Day of Your Life....

So Far! emoticon
