Live Out Loud!

Tuesday, June 25, 2013

2 Peter 1:3-8 NLT As we know Jesus better, his divine power gives us everything we need for living a godly life. He has called us to receive his own glory and goodness! And by that same mighty power, he has given us all of his rich and wonderful promises. He has promised that you will escape the decadence all around you caused by evil desires and that you will share in his divine nature. So make every effort to apply the benefits of these promises to your life. Then your faith will produce a life of moral excellence. A life of moral excellence leads to knowing God better. Knowing God leads to self-control. Self-control leads to patient endurance, and patient endurance leads to godliness. Godliness leads to love for other Christians, and finally you will grow to have genuine love for everyone. The more you grow like this, the more you will become productive and useful in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I love this portion of Scripture! The key to living life out loud with purpose and direction is in knowing Jesus Christ! When we grow to know Him more we understand all that He has given us to live life successfully out loud! What does it mean to live life out loud? To me that means that I live my life purposely and intentionally. Life can carry you along if you let it, but if you live life out loud you are the one making the choices that dictate where your life is going. You are the one who lives with purpose and direction, following the promises of God that give you faith to live a life of moral and spiritual excellence!

The New King James Version says in verse 3 that His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness! That means that whatever we need to live our lives with excellence spiritually and naturally has been given to us through the power of our relationship with Jesus Christ. His Spirit living within us enables us to live out loud!

John 10:10 NKJV The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they might have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Abundantly – Greek word perissos – means superabundance, excessive, overflowing, surplus, over and above, more than enough, profuse, extraordinary, above the ordinary, more than sufficient.

Is you life filled with abundance? Is it overflowing with more than enough than you need? Maybe the thief is stealing from you without you really recognizing it. Or maybe you're not making the decisions that lead to an abundant life.

Jesus came that we might have life in abundance; an enjoyable life; one filled to overflowing with the promises of God. But we must believe and receive to experience that life. When we allow life to carry us along we are simply living out the devil's plan to steal, kill and destroy our destinies. God intends for us to live our lives out loud, with purpose and the direction that He gives to overcome all the attacks of the evil one.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

God's promises are to be fulfilled in us to His glory and honor. Have you ever thought that God's goodness to you when lived out through your life would bring Him glory? His promises are positive, Yes and Amen, so be it and when we live out loud with His direction and purpose His promises are fulfilled in our lives and He receives glory from a life that reflects His goodness!

The choice is ours to make. Will we live the life that God has given us out loud with purpose and direction or will we be carried along by what life brings our way?

Father, I thank You for the life that You have given me; a life filled with Your goodness, with Your promises and with Your abundance! Thank You for giving Jesus to die for me that I might have the opportunity to life my life in Him, with Your Spirit's direction and provision. Thank You for giving me the choice to live my life with Your purpose and direction.

Father, I pray for those who may be struggling with what life has brought their way. I pray that they will know You, the only true God and that You will show them the good plan that You have for their lives so they can begin to make the choices that bring Your promises into being in their lives. May they seek You with their whole heart and come to know You in reality in their lives. I pray that the eyes of their understanding will be enlightened that they might see Your promises and walk in alignment with them. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

    Beautifully written Avanell! emoticon

The Word of God is so Simple even a child can understand it. I'm thinking about the scripture in James telling us to call for the elders of the church to pray when we are sick. I read that scripture when I was in the 8th grade. I would have very bad cramps. In my mind I thought who are the elders? So I read the scripture again then I laid hands on my own stomach. I'm so moved now by my simple faith. Believing the Word of God. Now I'm walking in the Fullness of The Word! I thank God for ears to hear and eyes to see so that I could believe ALL of the Truth! Many sit in churches all over the world and don't fully understand what Jesus did for us.

It's so important for us all to keep our eyes on the Word and pray for understanding at all times so we can see ALL that belongs to us and live the life God created us to live. ALL the promises are yes and Amen! So be it! I believe I receive! I want ALL that Jesus shed His Blood for! I take it! It's MINE! I pray for full illumination to the Body of Christ to KNOW Him and what and why He gave up His Throne to BRING us BACK to God! Oh what an AMAZING GRACE!!! emoticon
Thank You For Sharing Your Gift!

Avanell, another WONDERFUL blog and prayer as alway! How I appreciate and understand this so much more than I would have even 8 or 9 months ago...remember how you helped me so many times through that political part of the year? I will never forget your help during that time and since then I have been totally immersed in Revelation and can't even remember who I was back then.

I especially love the title and love living Out Loud!!! God Bless you for all you do for all who will listen! emoticon

Thanks Avanell for giving me a lot to think about. I have been struggling the last little while. I know however that God is with me and that if I turn to Him all will be well.

I have decided to not watch as much television especially news anymore. That has had a profound impact upon my life in a negative way. Perhaps there might be a Christian news program that I might be able to find.

I could tell the enemy was trying to distract me while reading your blog today especially the verses from Peter. So I will reread those again after posting this.

I pray to God today for more abundance to be found in my life and for the Holy Ghost to lead me in what to pursue and do to attain that abundance.

How beautiful! Oh, yes I want to live out loud, and for Him. All of us live out loud, but it is necessary that it reflects His Love and His Likeness as you have shared.
Sometimes I fail to live out loud as he desires; I want to do better. I am so glad that God has sealed us with his Holy Spirit who continues to teach and guide us in the right path. I am so thankful that we are represented by our High Priest, Jesus, who sits at the right hand of the Father and who knows our weaknesses and failures. I am so thankful for 1John1:9. I have to use this verse some. Oh yes, it would be wonderful if all who are called by His Name would desire to Know Him Better and let Him shine His love through us to others.
Lord, I pray to be such a vessel for you to shine your love through. Amen! emoticon

Dear sweet Avie, this is like a poem of love to our Savior and Lord.

Living out loud with the boldness and courage that only a believer and receiver of all that He has given to us by way of His cross and resurrection and then ascension is the only way that we can live life once we become born from above.

Speaking His words of promises and blessing with each new day is part of living out loud.

Living out loud by testifying of all that He has done on the inside of us is an expression of our gratitude and thankfulness for Him out loud into the atmosphere of this very material earthly realm.

Everything on this earth came from the realm of the spiritual realm and so by speaking out loud His words of promise and blessing is living out loud our faith and our taking it by force and bringing the manifestation of the spiritual into the material by living out loud. This is our reasonable service.

Living out loud is our reasonable service done by our faith in His grace and then proclaiming out loud all of His salvation He has given to each of us.

What an inspirational blog filled with so much promise and blessing and love and truth of the heavenly kingdom of light as we live out loud being the children of light. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Wonderful blog, Avanell! emoticon So very true - God offers us so much!

1 John 3:1 says, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!" I love that word "lavishes." He is not a stingy Father, holding back and barely giving us enough to get by! He LAVISHES! He pours it on. He offers abundance! Because we are His children, He cares about all the areas of our lives - spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and material!

Yet like salvation, we must choose Him and the gifts He offers. Sadly, there are many believers who view God as one-dimensional, as though He only cares about one aspect of our lives, when His Word clearly shows that He cares about all areas of our lives and personalities! Praise God for His abundant goodness!

    Thank you again Avanell!
