Now this was one strong woman, Kady Brownell

Here’s a little bit about her

Thinking of this, surely I can get out there for a run this morning even if it is hot.

    Good to remember our history.

My husband's favorite quote, "If we fail to remember history, we are doomed to repeat it."

Think about the women who first migrated west and what they wen through no only during the actual trip but in order to establish a new home. Surely we can all do cardio today

Wow, that's cool! I love stories of women serving in the military before it was the norm. My grandmother was one of the earliest women Marines and I am just inexpressibly proud of her for that (and because she was a great lady in general). You're totally right - if these women can do these kinds of things, we can totally suck it up and fit in a workout. :)

The Civil War was horrible. If it happened today with our population ratio, SIX MILLION people would die.
