Though I was part of the SS group that started on May 20th, I didn't really stick with it the way I needed to. I didn't give myself enough time to plan ahead and allowed stress to defeat me.
Actually, defeat is the wrong word. If I had been defeated, I would have gained weight (which I did not). I would not have started planning & cooking meals more (which I now do). And I wouldn't be so willing to try this again!
I've now read the book completely and have everything I need from the grocery list (minus the things I can't or just won't eat). And I'm also planning my workouts (which is still hard) so that I don't miss one!
My starting weight as of this morning is 212. My goals for this challenge are to continue the momentum of eating healthy & really commit to exercising daily, even if its just for a few short minutes. Of course, I'd also like to lose more weight, too, but that's just an added bonus!
