I never thought I'd write a blog, but I've heard it could help me keep on track with my goals. My goals (as you might have seen on my sparkpage) are to start running, do more yoga and sleep properly. Right now I think I'm proving my own point about my bad sleeping pattern as it's 3:20 am and here I am typing. However, I think I can forget about fixing my sleeping habits for a while as it's possible that the running and yoga may help.
I have some experience with doing yoga. I followed some DVDs someone bought me once and while I enjoyed it I just couldn't get into a routine. I think what I need to do is find something I can follow that doesn't take too long so maybe I could do it in the morning or just before bed. I'll have to look into it.
As for running, I have no experience with it at all. However, I've found a program that should work well here on SparkPeople. www.sparkpeople.com/mysp
It looks really useful and breaks it down to make it easier in the beginning. I think I'll start it next week so I can spend this week making sure I have suitable shoes and clothes etc and that I'm ready to start running.
I feel like I should say something interesting to end the post but what is there to say? I guess I'll get used to posting after a while.
