So the last week was busy with vacation and while I love the time away with family, I am really ready for some type of normalcy and routine. I do much better on my plan and goals with normalcy and routine. This week is still a little busy and it will be hard to form a routine, but next week, I am making a plan and sticking to it!
Today I did good until about 3 pm and I fell victim to a binge of sorts. I often do great all day and the afternoon hits and destroys me. Tomorrow will be hard because I have to take our puppy we adopted back to the shelter to be spayed. It is an hour away and we have to drop her off at 8:30 am and then pick up at 3 pm. I don't want to be driving all day so me and the kids will have to pass the time and try to fit in a nap for them somehow. Should make for an interesting (and long) day. Wednesday and Thursday are empty thankfully, because I need to work on the house and laundry! Friday we are up and back in the car for a 5 hour drive to my parents house for my brother and sister in law's baby shower. They are expecting twin boys! This weekend will be challenging food wise as all of my old favorite joints are there! However, come next Monday...I am so on! I feel it in my body. It wants to be back on schedule with more water, fruits, and veggies in it. I have been doing well since getting home, but vacation made my body crave those fresh things. I wanted something fresh so bad. I know once I devote myself to a plan that I can do it and that I will feel better once I get going.
Goals for this week:
1. Walk/jog with kids in jogging stroller Wednesday and Thursday.
2. Jog Saturday morning
3. Consume as many fruits, veggies, and as much water as I can.
4. Think on goals for next week.
