Lately I have been getting mild to painful headaches these past few days. I think it is related to these crazy and sudden storms we are getting. Years ago I had stress headaches that turned into very painful migraines. Sometimes these migraines would last for several days where I end up in the emergency room to get the dreaded shot in the behind. Most painful! But it knocked out the migraine and made me very sleepy.
This morning was all dark skies. Went to Curves with my neighbor around 6:30 am and by the time we left a half hour later, it was down pouring. I went to work at an adult day program and was able to walk my 3 miles on their track. The gym was freezing! After lunch and their independent activity skills, we went outside in the muggy afternoon sun. They played Duck, Duck, Goose. Afterwards we went back into the freezing gym.
When I got home it was still very much sunny outside when tornado warnings started sounding off on TV and cell phones. A very fast moving storm was heading our way...and it hit about 20 minutes later. The temps dropped quickly and the headache came back.
The storm was not impressive. I LOVE storms and I am always outside on my back deck, standing on the step closest to the house so that I won't get wet from the rain. I love watching the storm clouds churn and see the lightning streak and the thunders rumble! No boomers...just a lot of rumbles.
Still have a headache but it is diminishing. I think I will go to bed early since I plan on doing Curves again at 6:30 tomorrow morning. More storms are heading our way again and is predicted to storm or rain until Wednesday.
I hope everyone had a great start to their Monday!
