I know I wasn't going to start another challenge so soon, but it dawned on me that I don't have to just take things away!
So my new challenge is to make sure I get at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies every day. I'm hoping this will make me pay attention and pick these things over other not as healthy choices. I plan on trying to eat a serving of fruit or vegetables first, then if I'm still hungry maybe eat other things. It's not a "rule" - just a way to fit them in with out stuffing them all in at the end of the day to achieve my goal. Trying to develop a new habit!
So for today, still no sugar and I had 2 veggies and 4 fruits. Yes, I do see that I favor fruit. Maybe I can fit in some more veggies with dinner to even it out!
I will get there step by step, one goal at a time!
