What can I say???

Monday, June 24, 2013

So this afternoon we had a doozie of a storm,(do people even say that anymore?)
There was thunder and lightening and even some hail thrashing against the house. Then I lost power. Well the most logical thing to do is read and nibble, and nibble and nibble... You get the point!
I had made a great casserole, sweet potato with quinoa and black beans, but with no power I had to let it sit outside the fridge since I didn't know how long the power would be off. Late afternoon eating can be my specialty if I let it.
Oh to the stationary bike as my casserole cooks for the hubby. Yes, we all do have those triggers and my goal is to keep figuring out how to avoid them.

Late afternoon is my witching hour too... Getting on the bike is a smart move! I try to just keep drinking during that time so my body feels full. You have got this!
Hope your power wasn't off for too long.....

Late afternoon, first thing in the morning, late night...heck they've ALL been my specialty! Always good to spot the patterns and side-step the pit-falls! :-)

You avoided them by exercise and won't power. Especially the won't power. Good for you! emoticon

I know what you mean I am like that. Think positive and tomorrow is another day.

I hate when the power is out. We have a generator and are getting a whole house generator soon.
