Challenge #13- For the next 2 weeks I'm going to focus on just making healthy choices again. Funny thing is... sometimes when I just focus on making choices I eat within my calories guidelines without thinking about it and when I make a conscience effort to do so I tend to over eat. We are going on vacation at the end of the week so my goal is to just not gain when I weigh in 2 weeks for today.
On a side note I keep running into the same obstacles over and over on my weight loss journey. So I would like to share them to help me to be honest with myself.
· Have a big sweet tooth
· Don't drink water throughout the day
· Snack too much in afternoons and not always on healthy foods
· Don't eat enough fruits and vegetables
· Don't workout consistently
· Eat too many carbs and not enough fiber
These are all things I need to address and work on after vacation. I have lost 33 pounds since my weight loss journey started 11 months ago when my son was born. I am proud of my progress but I think I would have achieved more if I would have been more consistent. I still have 7 pounds of baby weight to loss. We are having a family picture taken when Zachary turns 1 years old and I want to like how I look in it.
