Ok, I cheated and didn't take a day off on Sunday. I walked the dogs and did an ab and upper body workout. I'm going to try to run tonight and just see how the IT band is feeling. I can walk fine, but sometime when I sit for a long time and get up, it's really tight.
My friend that signed us up for the 10K this Sunday, signed me up for the timed part. I'm going to try really hard to go easy, but knowing I'm "competing" will make me want to run at a faster pace. I'm going to run this race and then take a week off from running and see how the IT feels. If it's not better, then I may have to find an alternative form of exercise, at least for a while.
We'll see!!! I never thought I'd hate the idea of not being able to run!
