Monday Again...

Greetings and Happy Monday!

Busy weekend, looking forward to a great week! Spent some time at my company's sales banquet Friday night with Tony. It was nice to have a date to the banquet for once! The rest of the weekend, I worked on my handwriting project for a non-profit company where I live.

Looking at getting a Fitbit soon. I think I'll get the Fitbit Flex since it sounds like it's easier to wear. I especially like the sleep monitor capabilities. Several of my friends at my Fitness Hooping class recommended it, so I'm going to splurge and get it.

Also going to do a 10-day Cleanse on Advocare next month. I'd start it sooner, but waiting until my Mom goes on vacation and I'm left to figure out what I'm going to eat. (One of the benefits of living with Mom temporarily is that she enjoys packing my lunches and has dinner ready for me when I get home from work -- yes, I'm spoiled, but no longer "independent" like I was for the last 20 years...oh well, trade-offs I can live with for now) I'd originally thought I'd do the 24-Day Challenge but my Advocare contact (who happens to be my Hoop instructor) recommended I just do the cleanse for now. She finds the meal-replacement shakes on the 14 day part to be quite nasty. And it's not as expensive to do the 10-day part. I figure if I'm going to be shelling out over $100 for a Fitbit, I'd better save $ somewhere. We'll see how that goes...

I am seeing some positive results on the scale since I've started back to Hoop class! Looking forward to seeing more!

    I started the 24 Day challenge on Sat and picked up a fitbit flex yesterday afternoon :-) So far I love the flex! I don't know if its totally accurate but I just upped my steps to cover that. I'm on day 4 of the cleanse and so far so good! The meal replacement shakes are not bad actually. I got the chocolate and they satisfy my sweet tooth!
