My Status

Monday, June 24, 2013

Well if you have noticed my status, it says frustrated. Because I really am. emoticon Seriously, why do food companies put so much salt into sugar free - fat free foods like jello and pudding. They are supposed to be sweets , so why do they do that ? I know why , oh yes I do ! They have to have something in their product to addict you to. To keep you coming back for more. emoticon
Here I was thinking "oh la la lah , I'm doing great on my diet" ! Hooray, !!!!! Until I look at my Daily chart... Then I just want to cry ! I am coming below my calorie count, pretty decent on my fat intake too. Then I see my sodium intake ! And I about passed out. Twice at times for my daily allowance ! And I swear, I have cut way down on my salt intake to virtually nil , meaning I haven't used the added salt in cooking or a shaker. 75% is coming from products that I purchase for healthier eating & some in naturally occurring trace in foods. I have even been buying sodium free as much as I can. Even my beloved Diet 7-Up and Diet Dr. Pepper have sodium. Urgh ! emoticon

Ok, now I'm putting my big girl panties back on & I'm going to suck it up and find a new approach to beating the "SODIUM MONSTER" ! emoticon
