This is Lucy, our amazing villa cat. She has kittens somewhere on the other side of a couple of 7-foot walls. She needs to get them on solid food. We gave her a chunk of chicken one day, and she took it and went along the top of the wall to feed her babies. But we don't always have chunks of chicken for her. One day, she was trying to carry a mouthful of cat food without much success. So my husband had the brilliant idea to put some food in a coffee filter and twist the top closed. He showed it to Lucy, she said, "Cool!" So now every day, Lucy eats her food, then she takes her to go bag back to the babies. (She has her take-away bag in her mouth in this picture.)
For those of you who are concerned about things like this, Lucy has her shots, a microchip, and will not be having any more kittens. Thanks to the very kind doctor at the British Vet Clinic.
And these are our very spoiled inside cats, Trouble (the, ahem, voluptuous calico) and Natasha (supposedly a Siberian forest cat). Natasha is a petite cat but with fairly long hair. She is not being very lady-like in this picture.
