OK OK...NEW DAY 1 :)

Monday, June 24, 2013

So I had a few ups and downs....depressed for a bit, but got out of it. realized that feeling down was not going to help anything. I ran into someone who wants to really help me out. I honestly prayed for someone like this to come along. And she is helping me to stay motivated with my meals and all....literally calling and texting me daily to check on my progress...with her help along with I am sure that I will reach my goal. I am giving myself one year of being faithful and dedicating myself fully. I have been way harder on myself than I should have and I admitted this before. Of the 15 lbs I lost I gained 5 back. But now I don't wanna go backwards anymore. I read over some old journals and realized that I have been the exact same size prob for the past 8 years or so.....TIME FOR A CHANGE!

emoticon emoticon a year to make changes is really a great goal. I am about 2 days away from celebrating my year goal of continuing to exercise for one full year. I have made it. One thing I did not do is put specifics as to how many days a week, hours, minutes. I just wanted to go to the gym/workout and do it every week for the full year. I have done that with the exception of 3 weeks when I had surgery, but I walked during those 3 weeks when I was able. I was not focused on losing weight, inches or eating strictly I just let this one thing mold me mentally and it's working. I'm now preparing for my next year goal. I wish you many blessing and I'm happy that you found that HELP that you needed in your friend.

Wishing you all the best as you move forward! You are wise to surround yourself with a good support system. Remember to include yourself as part of that system, too!
