With all my conditions, even driving a half hour across the metro area to a doctor appointment requires planning, preparation, and patience. Traveling for fun requires many hours of the same, finding out every bit of information I can to ensure as easy of a trip as possible. I flew to PA, used disability transportation, stayed in a hotel room, and went to a doctor appt all while I was on IV nutrition, which can be extremely dangerous (especially when the appt was in a bad neighborhood and if someone tried to steal the backpack that was physically attached to me it would've killed me). But because of planning and preparing I had a better chance of making things work. My trip to GA took over 30 hours of planning, excluding packing! But the trip was awesome and I could handle the problems I did have because I had planned ahead in case. If I can do it, you can do it! Walk yourself through every possible problem you can think of and come up with possible solutions, then prepare for that.
