Week 1 and I'm feeling fine

I've lost 6.6lbs this week, oh the joy!!

I'm focusing on lbs lost and not the fact that it still leaves me at 237lbs! Why oh why did I allow myself to put all this weight back on - not paying attention and prioritizing other things, that's my problem! Well no more

So in an effort not to start slipping, I've gotten up and just done week 2 of c25k. Not a major achievement you say? well, it is when I now have to get ready and do a full shift until 10pm tonight running up and down the labour ward. Oh my aching feet at the end of it! They do not build the kind of shoes that can help a 237lb woman be on her feet all day without pain. Mores the pity!

Minor plus: the scrubs that were SO tight I actually couldn't bend down in them (note: they should use whatever material these are made of for missions to space, how they didn't rip apart is beyond me!) are still almost impossible to get into, but now I can at least sit down in them. Yes, I can't breathe when I do so, but one step at a time.

I will fit in these scrubs! I will!
