Just a quick update 6/24/13

Hi. It's been a while, so let's see if I can fire up a few brain cells this late at night and compose a quick blog update...

Since my birthday (last month) I have had some ups and downs, but I am making steady progress toward my goals. Yay! My original weight loss goals turned out to be a bit too aggressive, so I am constantly reassessing them, and just doing my best day by day.

My eating is approximately 90% clean, natural (God created) foods, I'm drinking tons of water and my workouts have been very consistent and INTENSE...HOORAY!!!
After taking nearly a year off from the intense workouts and dialing it down a few notches due to injury, I am so happy and thankful to get my sweat dripping, heart pounding, air sucking workouts on again!! I do still make a few modifications to be kinder to my knees, but I'm still getting a great workout 5-6 times a week.

My current weight is hanging right around 164/165. This is a place where I tend to get a little too comfortable in my previous weight loss attempts the past 4 years. I get here and I feel little better, more clothes fit me in my closet and I start slacking off a bit. NOT THIS TIME!! I am moving past this "comfort zone" as quickly as possible!!! I haven't been below 164 in 3 years!!! I plan to attain the goal of getting below this weight by mid week this week.

Another "mini goal" is to get down to 150 by July 13th for my good friend's bachelorrette party in Indy. We don't get to see eachother very often anymore and I know she will be surprised to see me with this much weight gone. It's going to take very hard work and determination. I know I can do it.

    I think your doing well !! Most of that weight is probably Muscle !! Keep pushing ! emoticon emoticon emoticon K

    Good luck! Even if you don't quite get down to that 150 goal by July 13th, you will still look amazing! Don't forget that! But you can do it, I have faith in you!
