emoticon If you walk, run or ride a bike outside, and have an Android phone, you might want to take a look at Google “My Tracks” on Google Play. It records your path (in real time on Google Maps, keeps track of your time and distance (actual path traveled as opposed to distance between start and finish, or among landmarks). It's fun, informative, and saves data to a variety of places and in a variety of formats.

It's also a good way of calibrating your Fitbit device, to see it's actual accuracy versus a GPS measured path

This was not only my first long walk with Google My Tracks, it was also:
* First walk outside with both arms free. What a joy!
* Longest walk I've taken outside in years!
* 3.81 miles over uneven ground, with hills and valleys, mostly grass. 3 hrs, 21 mins.
