Keeping Balance in my Life

Sunday, June 23, 2013

I really must work at keeping balance in my life. I have great resources for spiritual study and reflection. I try to set aside about 20 to 30 minutes for that each day.

I pay all bills that I can automatically online. I check my accounts each Saturday and pay any bills that need checks. That time is figured in each week.

I seldom go to stores to shop. I have plenty of clothes. I have organized most of my closet in the bedroom. I need to tackle the upstairs guest room closet.

I have trainings scheduled 3 times a week. I golf 2 times and take an occasional lesson. I try to make classes when it is raining.

I am limiting the number of meetings and committees. I want to engage others.

I keep television viewing minimal.

Everything seems to be working out at the moment.

My organization improved after I got my first delivery of 50 boxes of dialysis supplies from Baxter. One entire wall got taken up with boxes almost 7 or 8 high. I also have limited time away from the house. So I need to keep marketing time at a minimum.

My times away focus on trainings at the gym, massages (when housekeeper is cleaning and can keep an eye on my husband), and golf. I can be out of the house for about 4 hours at most.

    Cooking takes time.

Great job. I should set up a schedule to pay the bills rather than just looking at them every day and doing the ones that are due. I also need to organize my closet but first I need to organize the garage so I have some place to put the Christmas decorations. You are so much more organized than I am!!
