I don't like how people assume I was "off the plan" when I wrote about eating prime rib in my last entry. It is exactly the plan I'm on. Read the Primal Blueprint, people, and stop judging according to the FDAs grain-based pyramid. I think grains are terrible for you, but I don't voice that on someone's blog when they talk about eating whole grains in an effort to be more healthy. I respect that people have different ideas of what works for them. And I know this works for me because I see results.

I can't let that get me down because blogging here has been helping me stay focused on my goals, and I don't want to allow the letdown that I felt when I came back on today to negatively impact my willingness to continue blogging here.

I had a long, amazing weekend. Oh and there was beef involved. Plenty of beef. =P Friday, I walked four miles. Then we went camping at Hampton Beach. Saturday, I walked like five or six miles, danced, and hula hooped. I got to do some service work at the moe. concert, so I got to boogie and help others, which was nice. The organization hands out free candy, but I held strong and wasn't even tempted. My determination is so strong. I love it!

I didn't get ideal sleep last night. We went to bed late and then I woke up early to make coffee and cook breakfast for everyone with whom we camped, so we could head back to the beach. I am exhausted and didn't get too much exercise in, aside from an intense game of Marco Polo. I am going to sleep and then go tubing tomorrow. I love summers off.
