Today was weigh in day, and I was up about 3 pounds.
And I am disappointed because I was so close to my second 10% loss goal - but not surprised because I have not been following my plan or tracking. So it is time to reboot and get refocused.
So here are my mini-goals for this week:
1. Pre-plan my week's menus (Monday - Friday)
These are my menus for the week:
Monday- Oven Fried Chicken with a tossed salad
Tuesday - Baked fish with new potatoes and green beans
Wednesday - Baked Pork Chops with rice and carrots & broccoli
Thursday - Beef Burrito skillet
Friday - Berry pancakes & bacon
Of course these could change depending on how life happens during the week.
2. Track my food.
3. Focus on getting my 8 glasses of water each day.
I am already 1/3 of my way to success with this week's goals, so I am off to a great start already!
Just a note about my weekend project of making a budget. I did get one planned out and I will be starting it on July 1st - Canada Day!! I have tried in the past to follow a budget, but I always made them so complicated and rigid that I soon gave up on them. My friend gave me excellent tips to follow so I am really motivated to make this version work.
